Mind Without Matter

from £800.00

A visual unravelling of thought without form. Mind Without Matter came from a place where thoughts were loud but shapeless – when I felt everything all at once but couldn’t pin down a single emotion clearly. The marks are messy, layered, instinctive… it’s about the mind running without anything to hold onto. A kind of chaos I had to get out of me and onto something real.

The final outcome of this work reveals many images – some clearer than others. I won’t say what I see, or what certain strokes bring back for me, because I know how easily that can shift a viewer’s perspective. From what felt like nonsensical brush movements, I found a kind of sense – both in my mind and in the faint forms that have emerged.

PLEASE NOTE: This painting is on an imperfect and torn recycled card, this is the artwork. The price with the frame covers the extra shipping cost to protect the glass and weight. The frame has been upcycled - it is clean and presentable. If you choose to buy without the frame, the piece will be carefully rolled and protected in a tube.
